Speaking Tours

WNFIP hosted many visiting speakers from the across the Pacific between 1985 and 1999.
They organised three speaking tours from scratch. The visitors were Māori activist Titewhai Harawira and Chailang Palacious from the Northern Marianas (March 1985); Maria Pangelinan and Jacoba Seman, also from the Northern Marianas (who came primarily for the London Dumping Convention, September 1985); and Lorenza Pedro from Belau (Palau) and Lijon Eknilang from Rongelap in the Marshall Islands (March 1986).
