Gatherings And Events

While local WNFIP groups met frequently amongst themselves, there were also regular national gatherings in different towns or cities to share information and develop strategy, generally over a whole weekend. Sometimes these gatherings included open workshops and events. These were one element in a wide range of public-facing awareness-raising activities organised by the network. WNFIP activists would also frequently give talks to sympathetic groups, with slideshows and videos. In addition, the network organised many fundraising events, featuring performance, music and dancing.
